It is always great to renovate a historic property, even more so when it is the designer's own home. This project increased the existing 1790's farmhouse to accommodate a growing family while carefully maintaining the original character of the property inside and out. It is tough to tell if it's the custom milled floor boards felled from the property, the site assembled island top in the chef's kitchen, the custom master vanity or the waincotted family room that makes this family farmhouse such an amazing property. For the record, our crew thinks it is the patio's pull out television that hides in the mudroom when its not in use.
