Renaissance Partners, LLC is a New Canaan, CT based family business owned and operated by Ted and Rhonda Sihpol.

Founded after a successful Wall Street career, the business was the opportunistic culmination of a lifetime of remodeling experience. Our mission is to provide the highest level of personal service while surpassing our client’s expectation of quality. Measured by our client’s level of satisfaction, our success is achieved with the combination of traditionally skilled craftsmen, modern techniques, and the highest quality product selection.

We work very hard to minimize the intimidation often associated with residential construction projects and work with you from planning and permitting to the final design selections to simplify the process – allowing you to transform your family’s house to the home you have always dreamed. We’re not perfect, but aim to provide you, your family and your project with the level of service, attention and quality you deserve. We pride ourselves on communication and transparency because we believe that you deserve to know and understand whats happening in your house. It is the quality, communication, transparency and trust that we foster throughout the project that has allowed us to grow the business to the point where it is today.

Meet Our Staff

Ted Sihpol

Owner/Managing Partner

Ted grew up in an 1820's dairy farm in Massachusetts and like it or not, helped restore the house one room at a time, year after year. After graduating from the University of Vermont with an economics degree (so much for pre-med) he spent time on Wall Street before leaving for Connecticut and being asked to take over a friends failing renovation project. He went on to get his Home Improvement License and never looked back, building a reputation one project at a time. Outside of work, Ted has enjoyed coaching his two boys and spending time on the beach with his wife Rhonda. We also make a point of giving back to the community through local charities like the New Canaan Food Bank and New Canaan Scholarship Foundation and sponsoring lacrosse and football teams.

Our team provides our clients with the level of service and attention to detail they expect. Our team earned their stripes the old fashioned way - they started hauling materials and cleaning up. After years of coming up through the ranks they earned the privilege of working on some of the most exclusive properties in Fairfield County & that's where I found them. We now leverage those years of experience and skill to ensure your project is finished with the pride, dedication and lasting quality you expect. Our team of exceptional subcontractors provide support to my group who then handle the finish details - because that's where we excel and can ensure the details that set us apart are most evident.

Moral Support & Loving Slobber

Hammer & Bourbon can't be on site with us all the time, but they strive to provide exceptional home office support. They have years worth of canine experience and are always willing to lend a helping paw or two.
